Helen C. MacDonald (Torpey) of Canton, formerly of Roslindale passed away January 29th at the Faulkner Hospital. Born and raised in Roslindale, she graduated from Roslindale High School and has lived in Canton for the last 20 years. She was the Bookkeeper for many years for the family insurance business, MacDonald Insurance in Readville. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Mother of Joseph & his wife Eileen, Daniel & his wife Linda & Cindy Agapite & her husband Sebastian all of Canton, Laurence & his wife Susan of Franklin & Helen Wernig & her husband John of Marshfield. Grandmother of Joe, Caitlin, Jillian, Lauren, Andrew, Christopher, Taylor, Brendan, Jaimee, Daniel & Scott. Sister of Kathleen Sneyd of Roslindale. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Thursday morning at 10:30. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to the Sisters of St. Joseph 637 Cambridge St. Brighton, MA 02135.
